During the last weeks we were constantly working to optimize and further develop our business plan. We talked to many people, got feedback and learned a lot.
But we also came up with many new questions about gambling habits and how much people would like to pay for tickets. In order to help us get a relevant understanding on what is it that you would really like to buy, please take 3 minutes to answer a very short poll – http://wintheplanet.limeask.com/59126/lang-en .
So take your chance to shape the future of Win the Planet and feel free to share the link in your network.
If you have any questions please leave a comment.

Hi,
My name is Sara Usinger and I am the newest member of the Win the Planet team.

I am currently living in Cologne,Germany where I study economics with a focus on cooperative management (microfinance) and social policy.
After doing an European Voluntary Service in Finland and by joining amnesty international and AIESEC during my studies I developed a great interest in international issues, sustainability, social entrepreneurship and social business. I worked in different teams, organized a conference and was part of the team who started an initiative to build up AIESEC in Iran where I later did a three month internship , working for a local NGO.
I joined the team because I am fascinated by the idea of setting up a global business that aims to support projects related to sustainability all over the world. In my opinion it is a completely new and different way to approach people to support good cases. I am very much looking forward to work with Alexandru and Anca to make this idea become a reality. It is a great feeling and honour to join such a motivated and committed group.
Besides all of this I love reading, chocolate, cinema, photography, travelling and meeting new people from all over the world.
If you have any questions please feel always free to contact me via sara@wintheplanet.com, add me on facebook or follow me on twitter.

As you might remember, sometime in May i took part in The Social Business Lab in Bratislava. One of the things i did not mention then was that they also have a country-based projects competition, to which we applied with Win the Planet.

Well, it seems that they liked it so much as to award it the 3rd place!
Some of the criteria used to judge the applications were “upscaling potential”, “impact” and “financial viability”.
We want to take this opportunity to thank good.bee and the Grameen Creative lab for acknowledging our idea and also congratulate the other finalists.
And, as a bonus, besides the pride and joy of getting our efforts recognized, we also got the opportunity to meet some of the good.bee team and explore potential collaboration areas.
